Our Company

Nova Solar Capital has won Outstanding New Business at the 2017 Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in recogonition of being a leader in a growing industry, our investment in a strong foundational team, and our carefully crafted business model.

Our mission is to help Nova Scotians become leaders in renewable energy, by making solar accessible and affordable like never before!

We offer turnkey solutions for solar PV, including financing and installation, and our financing rate is lower than PACE programs like Solar City Halifax. Our unique approach makes it easy to go solar! You CAN shrink your power bill, grow your savings and help in the fight against climate change.

Our 2017 residential installation project saw systems installed on over 40 homes in Nova Scotia, which was more than 40% of all residential installations in Nova Scotia last year. With just this first phase we're reducing the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere by 10,000 tonnes over the next 25-30 years, the equivalent of planting 2000-3000 trees in Nova Scotia. And this is only the beginning! The 2018 installation season is underway, and you can be part of it!

What Makes Us Different

At Nova Solar Capital, we're making solar PV the most attractive, accessible, and economical form of renewable energy.

HOW?

Through our mass installation project, the first and only program of its kind designed for Nova Scotians to invest in solar, we can help you save you money on your home energy costs in the short term, and even more in the long term as you use clean electricity generated from the power of the sun, at lower rate than current Nova Scotia Power costs.

You can get financing for residential solar PV systems, with a very attractive lease financing rate: 3.5% fixed over 10 years. At the end of the lease the system is yours for a $50.00 buyout fee. No other company offers a leasing program, and although some municipalities do offer PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing programs (i.e. Solar City Halifax), the interest rate is higher and there are more hoops to jump through.

We only use superior quality products in our turnkey packages, check out our About Solar page.
